Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you create an account in the Move2Swipe app, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide. Authentication is managed by the platform (Google Play or App Store); we do not store your password.

When you connect a wearable device or health platform, we receive fitness data including steps, workout minutes, calories burned, and activity records. This data is used solely to evaluate whether your daily goals have been met and to unlock your earned screen time.

We collect subscription status, plan type, and purchase history to manage your access to the app. Billing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we do not store payment card information.

We use standard server and app logs that may include your device type, app version, and error events. These are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and support purposes.

2. How We Use It

We use the data we collect to:

  • Evaluate your daily fitness goals and unlock or restrict app access accordingly
  • Sync activity data from your connected wearable or health platform
  • Manage your subscription and restore purchases
  • Display your streaks, progress history, and earned screen time
  • Improve and maintain the app
  • Respond to support requests submitted via our contact form

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Move2Swipe integrates with the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google Play / Apple App Store — subscription billing and purchase verification
  • Garmin Connect — fitness data sync for Garmin devices
  • Fitbit — fitness data sync for Fitbit devices
  • Oura — fitness data sync for Oura Ring
  • Android Health Connect — aggregated health data on Android
  • Apple HealthKit — aggregated health data on iOS
  • Railway — cloud hosting for our backend services

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only request the minimum permissions needed to read your activity data.

4. Health Data

Move2Swipe accesses health and fitness data (steps, workouts, calories) from your connected wearable or health platform. This data is used only to determine whether your daily goals are met. It is not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not sold.

You can disconnect any wearable or health integration at any time from within the app settings.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and activity history are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

To request account deletion, submit an Account Deletion Request via our contact form.

6. Cookies

The Move2Swipe marketing website (this site) does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our contact form is processed by Formspree, which may set functional cookies required for form submission.

7. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, use our contact form.

8. Children

Move2Swipe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Move2Swipe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
